Scenic Conwy Valley Tour

‘The Secret View’ of Snowdonia
‘The Secret View’ of Snowdonia
Cultural, Historic and Scenic Photo Friendly Tour Up to 8 Hours Featuring a variety of interesting tour content and attractions

The Conwy Valley area provides a great day of touring with lots of interesting tour content and plenty of scenic locations. Our spectacular tour takes you off the main tourist trail to places that you would never find on your own. During your tour with us we’ll introduce you to the unique Welsh language and its culture. We’ll tour you through rolling country side, through farm and pastures and forests. In some places we tour along single-track roads, taking you off the conventional touring map, to places where the tour buses can’t even reach or go and other tour guides don’t know! The major highlights include visiting the picturesque medieval walled town of Conwy with its commanding 13th century castle. We uncover the local lore and culture of Wales in the popular tourist village of Betws-y-Coed. Enjoy a light lunch stop at a former 15th century court house, set alongside a river with a 600-year-old stone bridge. The tour also takes in a visit to the famous Woollen Mill at Trefriw, where we personally guide you through and around the site. We stop off at one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Wales at Swallow Falls. You’ll get to discover hidden gems of the area, like an ancient Roman Bridge across a small gorge, along with a visit to a 16th century traditional Welsh farmhouse (only open Thursday to Sunday). We’ll also introduce you to our famous ‘secret view of Snowdonia’ (weather permitting) and our scenic hidden lake. Custom Designed Tour Option: Bodnant Gardens: If you like gardens, then the National Trust Bodnant Gardens are rated as one of the best and most beautiful landscaped gardens in Britain. If you desire a visit to the gardens, then we will work with you to accommodate your request and tailor make the touring day to suit.

Tour Testimonial and Endorsement

“One of the best tours ever”

John drove my wife and me all over the greater Conwy area, focusing on out-of-the-way, special places that demonstrated the unique beauty of North Wales. John is a professional in all respects, and the tour was simply brilliant.

John grew up nearby, and so has a deep appreciation for all aspects of Wales, and he enjoys sharing his encyclopedic knowledge of Welsh history and culture. Definitely one of the best tours we have ever taken anywhere.
