1 DAY TOUR THROUGH WALES
The tour can start from either end of the country from the Llandudno or Conwy areas in the North or from Cardiff in the South. Your personal Tour director will collect you from your accommodation on this fulfilling touring day through Wales. It’s an early start as we have a lot of ground to cover and although Wales is not a big country to get through, it does take time and boy do we have the scenery and route to show off to you. North to South the country is no more than 180 miles in length, our touring day will be around 12 hours from start to finish. That said, we make lots of scenic photo stops for you to capture the beautiful landscapes of Wales. Across the Rooftops of Wales will take you through two of the National Parks of Wales and Areas of Outstanding Beauty – through the ‘Green Desert of Wales’! You’ll be touring amongst the most beautiful natural scenery and we’ll pass through some beautiful towns and villages We’ll climb the mountain passes in the Snowdonia National Park, tour the scenic lake district of Wales, driving the heights of the Cambrian Mountains and routing you through the Brecon Beacons. We will pick up dramatic and picturesque back roads, which many of the tour buses, even the smaller ones can’t reach and at times, we will be touring along single-track roads amongst the most scenic and remote parts of Wales. At times, we will pick up the old Roman roads and we will stop at one of the remote locations of a Roman fort outpost. We also will stop to take in a visit to a historic Welsh farm and introduce you to the culture and history of Wales and of course we have many scenic locations, including our famous secret views.
