The flight schedule features a morning departure from Cardiff, with an early evening return flight from Anglesey Airport. The flight is just under an hour each way and the schedule makes for a great day out touring North Wales, the Snowdonia National Park and the Isle of Anglesey. North Wales provides a great destination to explore and we have a range of tour options to choose from, with each one custom tailor made to suit what you want to do and see during your day visit. Our private tour service is completely flexible and we are also happy to accommodate an exclusive tailor-made tour for your visit. You could choose to visit to one of the UNESCO 13th century castles of King Edward 1st, along with highlights of the Snowdonia National Park. Alternatively, you might want to discover the Isle of Anglesey and enjoy a beautiful and romantic coastal walk, along with a superb country pub lunch at a scenic secluded bay and a visit to a UNESCO medieval castle. Flights are operated by Eastern Airlines, who operate with a small Jetstream 41 aircraft, with a maximum capacity of just 29 passenger seats. So early booking is recommended.

“Fantastic Day Visit Tour from Cardiff by Air”

This was an outstanding one-day taste of Northern Wales. I coordinated with Boutique Tours to take a short (45 minute) flight from Cardiff to Anglesey for this trip. John my driver-guide, met me at the airport and we were immediately off for a full day of amazing sights. John is a great tour guide and provided lots of background on Welsh history, language, and mythology (going back thousands of years!) as we toured first Caernarfon and then made our way through the breath-taking Snowdonia National Park. We even stopped at farm for lunch to sample local fare and hear some of the beautiful Welsh language. At the end of the day I flew back to Cardiff. This trip was the highlight of my visit to Wales! I would highly recommend this day visit tour, especially if you are visiting in the south of Wales around Cardiff, but want a quick trip to the North! Coordinating the cheap flight from Cardiff is super easy as well!
