Wales is full of culture, history and scenery. This tour combines all three elements and provides you with a great overview of the region all in one day!
There is plenty of interesting content to help captivate your touring day. From the UNESCO medieval walled town and castle at Conwy, to the Smallest Cathedral, Church and House and one of the best gardens in Great Britain.
We get to make two castle stops, with options to visit both sites. At Rhuddlan, we set the scene of the English conquest of Wales in the 13th century.
Moving onto medieval Conwy, an English colonised town, with an impressive circuit of town walls and a stunning castle site.
Out in the Conwy Valley, we stop to explore the world-famous historic Bodnant Gardens. Our cathedral visit is in one of the smallest cities in Great Britain, with cultural stories and legends. Moving on, we have one of the Severn Wonders of Wales, with a Holy Shrine (Well) that became a popular pilgrimage site for Royalty.
Our tailor-made private tour itinerary can also take in further stops at other interesting sites, depending on your touring time that you choose for the day.
There isn’t a better place in Britain to stand on the battlements of a castle. Conwy offers unrivalled views overlooking the estuary and having a landscape backdrop of the Snowdonia Hills. We think it’s one of the most magnificent medieval fortresses to be found anywhere in Europe, going back to 13th century.
